Actor
Fernand 'La Boîte' Bouchard “The Man Inside the Most Feared Robot in the Galaxy”
Bouchard spent the whole of The ATS Menace inside a rusted vacuum-tube robot suit, peering out through a slot the width of a letter box. The suit had no air holes, no seat and no way to turn left, so every scene had to be blocked to the right. He never once complained, and was later hired by a Trois-Rivières department store to be its Christmas window display.
How He Was Discovered
Found working inside a mechanical fortune-teller cabinet at a Quebec City amusement arcade, where he had spent nine years pretending to be the machine.
