Rodrigue 'Le Visqueux' Thibodeau

Actor

Rodrigue 'Le Visqueux' Thibodeau “The Slipperiest Handshake in Retro-Canadian Cinema”

Thibodeau played the oily head of the offshore staffing agency whose burst pipe unleashes the Radioactive Corporate Sludge. He greased his own hair, palms and moustache before every take so that his handshake would slide right off the other actors. Audiences booed him so loudly at the Sherbrooke premiere that he took a bow, which made them boo louder.

How He Was Discovered

Found selling "lifetime" vacuum cleaners door to door in Granby, where he had talked three households into buying a second one for the cat.

Trivia

  • He used so much hair oil that the sludge tank had to be skimmed between takes.
  • His fake contract props promised a salary of "competitive exposure," a line he improvised and the writers kept.
