Sylvain 'Sourire' Vachon “The Placid Executive With the Unblinking Grin”
Vachon played the perfectly placid tech-park founder who smiles blankly while foreign tractor beams snatch candidate profiles through the drywall. His grin never moved for the entire film, a feat he achieved with discipline, practice and, according to the makeup department, a small amount of glue. He was considered the most frightening thing in the picture, ahead of the flying saucers.

Spotted in a bank in Longueuil, where he had smiled at customers for twenty-two years without once being seen to blink.
