The Legend of Law 25
A Retro-Canadian Data Epic!
A high-stakes northern epic! Foreign software barons plot an invisible conduit to smuggle the digital souls of Canadian job seekers across the border. The Mighty Data Lumberjacks of Beauharnois answer the call. Fuelled entirely by maple syrup, they raise an impenetrable data fortress from French-Canadian logs, sealed against the radio waves of the US CLOUD Act with a top-secret gasket of genuine beaver fur.

Incidents & Hazards
Rudy plays "Chompy the Rogue Beaver" in a matted costume two sizes too small. He tries to gnaw through the log server racks for his foreign handlers until a lumberjack swings a cabin beam into his shins and he topples into a frozen stream.
He spent four weeks trapped in the synthetic fur suit after the zipper jammed. Nobody noticed until the wrap party.
Notes from the Set
Director's Note“Rudy's shriek on hitting the log was so spectacular that we fired the foley artist and used the raw microphone track.”
Trivia
- Rudy's synthetic beaver suit was not waterproof. When knocked into the stream, it absorbed 40 pounds of water, requiring a tractor winch to pull him out.
- The Mighty Data Lumberjacks in the background were actually local pipeline workers hired for two boxes of pastries and a gallon of cider per day.
- The beaver-fur server gaskets were old raccoon coats borrowed from the director's aunt. They caught fire during a lighting test in Scene 4.
- Jennie did all her own stunt work with the iron logging spanner. Rudy requested a foam wrench for his safety, but Jennie insisted on structural authenticity.
- The Data Queen's command console was constructed from a hollowed-out vintage icebox filled with Christmas tree lights.
